Hello Norris,

Thanks for your response (seeing it quite late ). Another question, if this is fine with you - have you had any issues with this size? What are you setting in the iDrive as tire size and overall how is the car behaving?

Thanks!
No issues at all. I have it set to 275/30/20 on the idrive.

For my summer setup I'm actually running the following setup:
Bmw 629 style 21" 7 series wheels
Tires are pilot sport 4s
255/35/21 8.5" wheel
295/30/21 10" wheel
Hi all

Looking for long term updates from those of you on this thread who upgraded the side wall by 5mm in the stock 668 rims. Anyone have any recent issues?

Just got my 2020 and will need to swap out within a month before the bad weather. I'm probably going w 245/40/20 275/35/20. The ride isn't as bad as I thought on stock but I really don't want to deal with punctures later on.

Thanks!
So far so good! I've put 13,000km / 8,125miles & no issues so far.
I've upgraded the side walls by 5% this weekend and so far so good. The tires barely clear the wheel well but should be fine unless I crush a pot hole but then I'll have bigger issues than rubbing.

The car does feel a little heavier when turning and slightly less agile but maybe it's just me. I can Def see the benefit of lowere side wall summer tires though. More rubber means less handling. Got it.
