My wife and I went to Vegas in August(coming from Georgia the dry heat was way better than humid heat) rented a convertible Mustang and drove to Grand Canyon west. It was kinda crappy to be honest. It was like $300 to be bused to 5 different crappy buildings with school cafeteria food and then we waited 20 minutes to walk out on the skywalk. The skywalk was cool, but of course photos were $25 and you cant take your phone out on it. I would avoid GC west and see if you can find a better option.
