Did you get it fixed? If not you just need to pull the cartridge out and flip it over. This will put the BMW on top. The reason it's upside down on the G30 is because the wire connection is the reverse of all other cars. Most cars the wire comes from door hinge side but in G30 it comes from other side.
Since the wire is opposite you have the flip the lens the opposite way. Leave the Left one on driver side and right on passenger side so emblem will point outward.
I have a G30 but couldn't get them to fit in my car. Almost like they cut the hole to small for them to fit and didn't want to force them in.
