I picked up this heavily-optioned 2013 sixteen days ago, and have gotten through the 1st phase of my break-in (1260 miles). The initial service was done yesterday. I see why everyone who owns one seems to be so enthusiastic. It's civilized when you want it to be, and beastly when you demand it. Also, it's less high-strung than my '02 M3 was, seems faster, and it rides better than my '09 335i did. I really appreciate all the posts here that helped me see what I've been missing. I'm happily on board.
