So I finally got my switch...
Royal PIA to take off old switch. Seems BMW changed the clips which hold it in place, which makes it about 100% more difficult to remove than the video.

Either way, got the new switch installed... doesn't even turn on. I expected it to at the very least be functioning the same for the regular functions. Unfortunately, it's completely dead. I'm not sure if it's a bad switch, but it doesn't work. I tried coding the "gentleman's function" anyway, but nothing. The module itself seems identical except for the extra button and corresponding LED. I tried the old switch with the module coded (but with the new button), and still nothing.

Either I'm not doing something right, or I just pissed away $100 (and I'm going with the latter).
