The m5 style rear diffuser has to fit the bumper of my car but don't understand why those 2 slots tab in the upper right corner don't fix to my bumper they slide out.

I just put a rear diffuser on my 2022 m550 yesterday. I'm sure you have heard on this thread many times before, if they are not OEM parts then it may not be a perfect fit.
The tabs on my diffuser also did not line up perfectly to click in place, so I used a drill bit and opened up the slot that clicks the diffuser in place. Now it's flushed in and looks like a perfect fit.

A lot of people have to just bend the tabs on the diffuser a bit as they come flat and need to stick out.
