A comment and a question on CarPlay ...
One of the video reviews that I saw was somewhat critical of the CarPlay implementation in the G30 because it only filled about two-thirds of the iDrive screen, leaving the right one-third blank, even when using apps like Maps.
The question - Does anyone know if we'll have automatic access to new apps that are added to CarPlay? So for example, if Waze is made available to work with CarPlay, will it automatically work with older CarPlay implementations, or will we be stuck with only the apps are available at the time of original purchase? I just don't know the tech well enough to understand this.
