Think about this.... In the M3.. you would be owning THE M3. But in the 997... your just another porsche, the entry 911 at that. Kind of a big fish in a little pond, or small fish in a big pond type of thing.
Obviously, there are multiple ways to look at it though. I'm just offering up this one at the moment.
