Works without issue on my car. Make sure you leave some air out of the side bolsters before trying it though because it can't pump them up any more if you're already on max. When you hit the Sport+ mode the bolsters definitely tighten up if you have them deflated under the other modes. I had the impression it even firms up against the outside when cornering to support you more, but that could just be G force against the air cushion.
I would say, try deflating them totally, then enabled Sport+ mode and if there's no change, tighten them up using the seat controls, then try and set Comfort mode to see if they relax back to normal and vice versa. If that doesn't work, seek advice from your dealer and get it checked out.
