Cant wait for the catless dps to get in, then stage 2 and Im done. From what Ive read is that the oem tips are spot welded on. Dont see why a muffler shop couldnt remove them and put on whatever tips you want as long as they fit the diffuser. |
Boy I've come full circle in a year since my original comments and questions in this thread. I have a full Dinan system due to be installed hopefully next week. Mid pipe, axle back and valve remote.
I really wanted those double round tips. I think it pretty difficult to cut the tips off the stock exhaust and spot weld new ones in. I've only seen one person do it and they stuck out too far IMO.
My diffuser will fit the Dinan tips. I made sure of that before choosing it.
After this is done, I'm sure I'll want to know more about down pipes. You can take me to school.
