Hiya,

I need to change the rear pads on my F90 M5, tried posting in the M5 forums, but no response...

I did the pads on my previous cars, VWs, using the OBDEleven app - placed the car into service mode for lining change, the parking brake would whir... and then I could change the pads, and "reset" the lining change mode.

I assume this is the same for the F90 and G30, but where can I get an app that will allow me to enter lining change mode? I have tried the Bimmerlink app, this has some "EPB service mode"... once I launch the app, the car will say "diagnostic mode" etc on the dash, and flash an error message... but I don't hear any noise from the parking brake. Is this normal?? The app says something like "service mode activated successfully"...

Is there any other app I can try?
