It's a nice upgrade, especially if the AW is going to be your daily wearer.
I mainly use my Series 2 for workouts (lifting and swimming), so I'm not jumping to upgrade to the Series 3 for the Cellular Data.
IMO, if you have a Series 2 and it's not your daily watch, not worth shelling out another $5-600 a year later on an upgrade, but if your just now in the market for a smart watch, definitely an incredible choice.
Stainless Steel - Black is the way to go. Sapphire Crystal is a must on this watch, I've seen the aluminum cases with the glass and does get scratched.
