But when headlights are on AngelEyes rises to 100% brightness which makes them look white. So coding them to light up at 100% brightness at all times will mostly eliminate the issue   |
I get the annoyance of the defect and I would prefer to get rid of it too, but forcing the light to max brightness doesn’t seem like a good approach. The DRL LEDs on the G30 are pretty bright and we only supposed to shine at full brightness in the daylight with the headlights off (so a lot of other light to soften them out on other drivers). At full brightness with our headlights on at night that can dazzle other drivers.
Can you shave some costs by getting the part from a salved G30 headlamp?
