I took delivery of my champagne quartz m550i over tartufo/piano black last week. I had one day with sunshine and took a few photos.

The exterior color changes from brown/gray, to a silver/blue, to gold depending on lighting. I am very pleased with it after three five series in black, gray, and carbon black with black interiors.

The tartufo brown in the photos of the exterior is pretty close to actual, I took a few of the interior in the sun and they came out much more orange than actual. (I included one anyway.)

Color is cool but at first glance in your dedicated 550i Thread I couldn't notice your aluminum mirror covers and then I saw they were right there lol
They blended with the exterior color more than other colors would do

Interior color is nice. You should post a few exterior shots taken on a cloudy day - for deeper color intensity.

The car looks great. I envy you. I wanted one of a couple of the Merino options but I couldn't wait for the delay that would cause to my order and the Mocha Nappa was a very acceptable alternative (I really wanted the ivory Nappa but ended up chickening out on a white interior).

Thanks for all the comments. I will take a few more pics after I put my winter shoes on.

I could not stand the thought of boring (silver) winter rims with smaller wheels in back with a square set up. So, I bought a set of staggered 19 inch 664m and had them painted bicolor with a dark gray metallic (close to BMW orbit gray but easier to get). I wanted them to be similar to the new M5 706m rim and other m rims with only the center of the spokes near the hub painted. Sottozero 3 winter runflats.
