Has anyone ever tried Getbmwparts.com?
Hello, has anyone ordered parts from getbmwparts.com ?
If so, could you please share some feedback about your buying experience ? Are the parts genuine OEM stuff ? How competitive are their prices ? How's the shipping ? Overall customer service ? I'm planning on buying a M performance lip and CF splitters for my f80 P.S. Are there other good genuine OEM parts sites that you trust ? Please share. |

Yes, they are legit and sell OEM parts. They are actually part BMW of Silver Spring. If you try shopping for parts from their sites, they redirect to getbmwparts. I have ordered from them whenever I could not get my local dealer to price match their online price. That generally only happens when they have specials or closeouts.

Britney is awesome! Not only was she responsive but she had my parts (CS steering wheel, M-Performance steering wheel trim, and some black grills for wife’s X5) packaged extremely well and even shipped them via usps to accommodate me being stationed overseas. I will be a repeat customer, and I have shared my feedback with fellow M owners near me.

GetBMWparts is awesome, but PLEASE NOTE!!! When shipping, they do signature required unless you tell them ahead of time. I had to learn the hard way the first time I ordered from them, hehe.
But they also ship fast AF

Problem with GetBMWParts
I ordered an oil change kit for my E46 3-series BMW. The photo shows that the kit contains the oil, filter, oil filter housing gasket, drain plug gasket, and a little green o-ring for the oil filter housing cap stem. Most other suppliers don't show or include the little green o-ring, but I ordered from these folks because they did show it, suggesting it comes with the kit. It doesn't. When I complained I was told that they used a "stock photo," and basically too bad the small green o-ring is not included. This part is less than a dollar, and they could have sent it to me for less than a dollar. But apparently keeping a repeat customer isn't important. Be very careful ordering from these people, and don't rely on pictures to know what is included in the part you are ordering.

getbmwparts / No parts in stock
Please review the stock notes in their web page
"The site does not denote the stocking status of the parts. We'll update the item status and your shipping ETA ....." SITE DOES NOT DENOTE THE STOCK.. So, you order thinking that you get your part, in 3-5 day..NOT!!! and them they want extra shipping $$ to expedite. What a joke!! |
