Wondering if any M550i drivers could offer their opinon on this vehicle and its options.

• Med blue/Cognac/Poplar
• 37k mileage, asking $42.9k
• Clean carfax, 2 owner, Maintence appears to have been kept

Any kind of warranty offered? Price seems fair but that is a pretty lightly optioned car. Options don’t add much to resale but could make the car more desirable.

I find it strange that it was spec'd with 19" wheels and in a "square" set up with same size front and rear. All M550ix in North America that I have seen came factory with staggered front and rear with wider rear wheels and tires. Rears being 275 width.

This car is light on options...not bad, but very average. I love the color...it was my second choice when I was looking.

I think you have room to negotiate. I would pass and find a car with the M668 staggered wheels and tires.

I would have to go out in the garage to check but pretty sure my 2020 M550 has 245 width 19” all seasons all around. I think they only did staggered size if the car was equipped with summer tires.

I have the exact same car same color differences are: mine was one owner, 18.7K miles, had executive package, driver assist, parking package as well. I paid 47.9k last month. (USD).
So, I would say price is right plus or minus 1K.
Was it certified preowned?
For me, it wasn’t enough to rely on the Carfax report. I bought the car from a Genesis dealer, but I learned that Genesis sent the car to the local BMW dealer who did a thorough inspection for Genesis. I went to the (BMW) dealership, made friends with the service tech and he shared with me all the information they had on the car. Even though he had nothing to gain he told me the car was an absolute cream puff with zero issues. Apparently they videotape their inspections And he showed me the visual and audio report. He was even able to go back to where the original owner had purchased and serviced the car which was another BMW dealership in a neighboring town and he shared with me all those records, including some very minor complaint the original owner had. One complaint was he couldn’t get the car to go over 155 mph. LOL Like anyone really needs to go that fast except maybe on a track in which case you get the M5. The dealer assured me the car goes as fast as it was designed to. And I can attest that it goes faster than I ever want to. Best of luck to you.

This might be the lowest optioned M550 I've seen. I would look at 2021 models you can get for about 2 to 3k more.

Nope. I have the exact same car, color and model year which came with 19” square.
