BMW m550i g30. Has the following codes

120908
123525
120408

I’ve doubled checked the wastegate plug for bank 2, and it’s all plugged in. I was able to use ISTA to calibrate both wastegate with no issue and drive moderately with no issue. As soon as I full throttle it throws a DTC and throws these codes. I’m out of ideas if anyone has had any luck fixing this let me know thank!!

Having similar issue. Likely waste gate actuator number 2 needs to be replaced. Hope it is not the wiring harness, both common on these over 65-70k miles, currently at 120k. I can clear it and drive moderately for my work week approximately 650 miles and the code does not come back until weekend when I am driving around and giving it some gas.

I am going to find a decent Ista download and complete some diagnostics over the next week and see if I can get anywhere with this issue.

Did you solve this? I would suggest swapping the ISM then the actuator.

I changed the bank 2 actuator but still getting code 123406, line disconnect. Anyone else have luck solving it?

Mine's been throwing the same codes - turns out the v-band clamp was partially obstructing the wastegate actuator linkage.
