Sabelt SPS

Just got around to unpacking my new seats and I'm in loss for words. The quality is unlike any other and the comfort is extreme! Ill be sure to post up more installed pictures and I will have some custom work to complete on the seats. Huge thanks to iND & ACM|WEST

Those are awfully pretty. And I'm sure they're awfully expensive.

You should really see and feel them in person! I personally prefer the silver/black stitch but I will be redoing mine with green to match the rest of my contrast stitching.

Once I install the seats I will weight the factory seats and see the weight savings as I'm assuming these may be slightly lighter.

Awesome looking seats!

The sabelt seats look to be about 48.5lbs each, you aren't going to realize any significant weight savings compared to oem.

In my mind, (besides the looks) that makes it pretty hard to justify dropping around 8k on these seats considering that weight savings are the main perk of switching seats

Your absolutely right, these seats won't make the car feel lighter but your ass will thank you. I must admit 85% of people buy seats for the overall aesthetics and not for track/weight savings, me included! Seats look and feel incredible! $8,400 for the pair, steep? YES! Give ACM|WEST a call and I'm sure pricing will be better

call me a negative nancy, but i thought the OEM seats are pretty good. good adjustability and hold with nice bolstering. my ass is comfy too.

besides the carbon shell (which is eye candy), i don't get the advantage of these seats.
you lose the power adjust and memory. have to fiddle with sensors and code appropriately.

it doesn't appear to me that they make running a 4 or 5 point harness any easier.

there are other M3/4 shortcomings that i'd rather throw money at to improve than the seats.
