im waiting for my amp, have anyone installed it on 530e 2018? It would be nice to have some instructions what i have to remove etc. I know that its in the trun on the left, but thats all. Thanks... -P

I didn't install your amp but I installed this one in my G30. You're correct, it goes behind the trim panel on the left (driver) side. I found it best to remove the entire left side trunk trim panel. You will have to first remove some other pieces, most notably the loading edge trim on the back of the trunk and the side section of the rear seat backrest. I mounted the amp on a piece of sheet metal. Just be careful not to interfere with the trunk opening/closing mechanism. I used a relay to draw main amp power from the battery mounted there in the trunk. Here's what it looked like before I replaced the trim panel.

Are the sound files from the audiotec fischer website good or do you need to tune the system? I don't know how to use these microphones and stuff.

If you buy the amp without DSP, you may try to tune it yourself. If you have the amp with DSP (I have Match UP 8 DSP) no way tuning it yourself without a comp, SW, measuring mic, etc.

You can try this file. It is for the sedan version. A friend from the forum tuned the scene more in the center of the car.

After I updated the audio system, I started hearing a squeal when the door is open but the car is not started (when you put a child in the back seat). According to the service center, this is because the system is scanning the speakers, and since an amplifier was installed, this sound is now audible. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any solutions?
