Squeaky Wiper Arm

My driver side (UK) wiper started a rubbing / squeak sounds a couple of days ago.
I tried lifting the rubber blade whilst it moved to see if it's the blade, the sound continued however.

Has anyone had this before? It seems like the actual hinge is squeaking.

Only had the car a few weeks, wipers seem new and good condition.

Video for sound:

Many thanks!

Rory

I know I'm deaf as a post but my ears suggest that the sound is coming from the friction of the rubber and the glass and not the mechanism.

I agree. Tough it could be caused by the wire arm putting too much pressure, but I don't know enough to speculate on that.

I can say I don't have any issue like this with my car. Not with the factory OE blades or the replacement OE blades I just put on. It sounds smooth.
