Here two pictures in different lighting situations. Note that the second one is under very poor yellowish lighting, which changes the colour quite a bit. Once it gets delivered I will post more.

I deliberatly opted for Alcantara seats, because the quality of BMW leather in current cars is just a joke, even the higgling "Individual Full leather" that I had in the M4.

As for the missing sun roof, in Madrid you try to protect yourself from the sun as much as possible - another reason for not going for leather (it heats up so much and you are sweating more).

After I sold my M4 the 5 for me is a working car, more than a fun car. I actually did shop around for other brands this time, but including the hybrid subventions that we get over here, it is going to be a really cheap car to run, even though the insurance premium is even higher than the M4 was!

This looks pretty nice , I’m not crazy about any of the color choices though . Any clue if they will change choices any time in the next few months?

Most likely not. Usually they only change the colors for the lci/facelifts.

It's a colour that comes out best in the sun. Can look a little flat purple in overcast / evening conditions.

Always fantastic. The best of the best, and the kool aid is delicious also. Highly recommend if you can wait the extra few weeks for delivery. Also, no free dealer installed swirlies.

Never been a fan of any of the blues offered by BMW, but I can get behind Phytonic Blue! Definitely pops in the sunlight, at least in these pics.
