Hi all, I bought my 530d few months ago and have been trying to figure out how to fix the map problem I’m facing. The map shows my vehicle in the ocean. I have checked the status via the hidden menu which shows gps status: reserved and tracking as —-.

In addition my bmw app is showing no data at all of the car. Remote services are not working, and fuel level is just blank via the app it’s like there’s no connection at all between the car and app.

I’ve tried all the resets and no difference. I’m hoping somebody on here car help me.

I’m not a mechanic but suspect there is something wrong with the aerial. There was a similar case reported in this forum some time back. The hidden menu showed no satellites aswell

I’ve read that thread before, but it shows the gps status as “check antenna” I thought I’d give it a shot on here before chancing it with replacing the antenna as mine is showing reserved with all other figures as —- there seems to be no connection present at all, it may be something else that needs replacing too.
