Look for the USA 540d Owner’s Group on Facebook. You might have better luck there. There were only around 300 540d’s sold in the US and we tend to love our cars 😂

Looks like there is not an exclusive '540d Owner’s Group'. I am already in the BMW d group as I have a gorgeous 335d. I did post a WTB in that group and got lots of encouragement but no leads yet.

The poster just before you is a scammer - joined today to tell me he 'knows' someone. This should be fun.

He messaged me trying to sell me an Akrapovic exhaust for $250. Sent me random pictures from on here (reverse image searched to find).
