Hey guys, so I have a 2017 530ix that I recently got. The first thing I did was activate CarPlay through the bmw app. Today I finally got BimmerCode and wanted to make the CarPlay show on the full screen, but BimmerCode won’t read the headunit. From what I gather online it’s possible that the cause of this is the fact that I activated CarPlay. Is there anyway around this? TIA

Just saw this. If an aftermarket FSC has been installed, Bimmercode won't be able to read/code the HU. The factory FSC must be present to code the HU. You'll probably need help from a coder...
