Stage 2+ to INS tune

I switched from bm3 stage 2+ to a custom inspection tune the other day...Drove it fine for a few miles to the car shop for inspection. I got out and there was this whirling sound with tons of smoke out the exhaust. I was still confident it would pass the inspection so I waited about 5 minutes for the sound and smoke to go away.

It Passed.

Because of the tune it wouldn't show any CEL. I drove home no issues. Switched back to stage 2+ and no issues.

Has anyone experienced this before? I kind of assumed because of my style of driving with the stage 2+ tune, some excess coolant or oil was somewhere in the system that got burnt off causing the smoke.

Those symptoms sound like pcv. Have you checked that?

No but I'll consider looking into this..Currently drives fine and it only occurred that one time randomly so I didn't think much of it

So a month later I went to my shop for an oil change. It started smoking again... They said it's the pcv and changed it. Drove it for a week and it started smoking again. I did notice some oil around the cap cover. So when I towed the car there they said they hadn't replaced the cap and oil pressure wasn't holding so they put a new cap cover on. Granted this was assessed visually without any mechanical checks. Few days later and still whitish blueish smoke from the exhaust at start up..

Needless to say I am annoyed

Been at the shop since Monday. Apparently oil is on the spark plug or plugs. Still waiting to hear what's causing it.
