Hi everyone,

I am interested in replacing my interior trim. I would really like to find aluminum trim. I’m having a hard time finding a whole set that isn’t from Europe. Does anyone know any good places to search for trim. I know a lot of people are switching to carbon fiber, so hopefully I can find someone who is looking to make a switch.

What’s the issue coming from Europe? Cost?

Your local bmw dealer should be able to order all the right parts but I have no idea how much it would be , I doubt not cheap (what are parts so expensive in general?)

Europe has steering wheels on the right side the dash trim would be backwards. I could talk to a dealer but we all know how that goes. $$$$$

Not sure where you are based but the picture was left hand drive which is the same as europe. Only the U.K. in Europe drives on the other side so most parts will be for left hand drives cars. The part numbers are obviously specific to which side of the road the car drives on

I actually sourced a complete m5 interior trim piece set from eBay. The front was easy and I will be getting together shortly with a local friend to do the doors.

Looks great. The doors look like a pain. But I’m willing to put the effort in. I have been able to find the dash and console trim but can’t find shit for doors. Every where that is selling oem trim is backordered on this style.

Did you have to find trim with ambient lighting. Or was the lighting stock and swap easily. Sorry if this a dumb question.
