G30 540i Alibaba Exhaust

Hey everyone!!!

I really want to get an exhaust for my G30 540i but money is tight. I looked into one from an Alibaba seller. i've heard good things: saved money, similar quality, ect. at the bottom of this post is the link of the one i was going to buy.

I am a little confused on how the replacement of the stock valve is going to go, so if anyone has any experience please let me know! Will i just unplug it and leave it there?

Regardless of what you do, dont use the tips with the fake Akrapovic logo. People will laugh at you. If you get this exhaust, have them send you blank tips.

Looks great! How long have you had it and does the the valvetronic work as advertised? Which one did you order btw? I've seen a couple different ones listed on alibaba.

Had it on for about a month now. It does, very noticeable sound difference. Only part that sucks is if you’re driving & you forgot if its open or closed, you’d have to go thru the cycle & pray its what you want it to be. I cant tell if it’s open or closed from the driver seat

I would say that is true but I don’t know how you can’t tell if they are open or closed. My car is loud has hell with them open.

Are you running the exhaust that was linked in the original post? I saw reviews that said that the pipes needed to be cut to fit. If you are running that exhaust, did you need to cut the pipes aswell?
