Essentially 2 different types of porn site, 1 that is less explicit and people are willing to pay for and 1 that is more explicit and they aren't willing to pay for.

Also, the OF girls also prey on the people that want to feel like they are in a relationship with them. OF is just a more popular version of cam girls, and cam girls been making bank for decades.

Only fans provides interaction - Lonely guy (and apparently some girls) pay £10 a month to their favorite model, they get exclusive pics and vids (exclusive to everyone who paid but don`t point that out) and the 'model' makes an effort to respond to comments, so they feel like they are having a direct convo with their crush.

The majority of women don't make that much money on there. You can see all the tips they make (which they split with the company) and you can guesstimate about how many subscribers they have based on their likes received per post. The top few make a killing I'm sure but most are just trying to make some supplemental income to get by.

I have no problem at all paying $15 for exclusive content that I otherwise would never had access to precovid. Times are tough right now, especially if you're a model who used to travel for work, who am I to judge. I only subscribe to one, but she's able to work in the comfort of her own home, and do exactly what she feels comfortable with to make money, unlike say working in the porn industry where they are frequently taken advantage of by studios, or addicted to drugs, etc etc. She gets to be her own boss and I get to see the goodies in an ethical way. I'm totally cool with that.
