Hello Everyone,

I have a simple question. Can you code the low beams on when you unlock the car? On my brother's 2020 F36, the low beams turn on when unlocking. On my 2020 G30 just the halos light up.

I did a search however I'm still trying to figure everything out. Thanks for all help.

Yes and no need for any coding

Not sure of all permutations but at least with the headlight switch in the dipped position( as opposed to auto or O) they come on for about 15 seconds or so when you unlock the car.

I keep mine in auto. I tried it in dipped and it's the same

Ah maybe a difference in model year so maybe you do have to go the coding route ( assuming there is a value that can be toggled for that value)

My 2017 also turns on automatically for 15 seconds in A position. But there is a menu item to activate welcome lights on iDrive to do that.

But there is no timing setting. I would like to turn them on for at least 30secs. 15 is too short
