I am using Bimmercode and I am trying to get the M animation to display on the headhunt at startup. I have coded it and it resets the ECU and shows the animation. But when I lock the car and get back in///it either turns the head unit on at the Home Screen, or shows my driver profile welcome screen. I have read that there is some delay that can be set so it runs every time and I have read that BMW doesn't show animations if the car is warm so the head unit is ready to work faster. Any thoughts into how to make this show at every startup?

You are correct if the car has gone to "sleep" the animations are skipped by default when you get in next time, as you mention so the systems are ready quicker. If the car sits for a while and powers down - next entry produces the display animations.

I suspect you should be able to locate START_UP or similar in the expert parameters for the head unit to make this happen. I'll check my car later today and see what i see.
