Driver Assistance Emulator to keep lane keep on. Has anyone tried this?

I posted on the general forum about this $50 after-market part that plugs in under the Steering wheel to simulate hands on the wheel while using Driver Assist professional. Has anyone tried this or has it? I have the part but have not had it installed yet—any thoughts on whether this would work on the G30 POST LCI? The video shows a steering wheel on the G series that does not exactly match the DAP buttons I have on my wheel.

Don't really need it. Place your hand near center / middle section of the wheel. Press now and then. 👍

My car is POST LCI with the DAP package versus standard lane assist. Can the DAP be programmed to not flash orange after 5 seconds? Will this emulator work?
