Stain on door panel leather

See attached picture. The front passenger door panel arm rest has a strange stain or something in the leather. I tried a leather cleaner, conditioner and nothing. Any help?

I have the same mocha Nappa. Could be a sweat stain or body lotion stain from passenger resting their arm/elbow. I start with wet towel and wiping with a dry one. If just water doesn’t work then I use my SwissVax cleaner. Usually that works for me. But currently I have a spot on my center armrest that is clearly from resting my elbow (or wife when she drove it) where this process didn’t work. The spot is more rough than the rest of the armrest so it may require more professional attention.

As the post above says, this is be caused by sweat or detailing products. If the wet towel doesn’t work, I highly recommend using a strong degreaser to clean the affected areas.

Spray the degreaser directly onto the areas that need cleaning, then use a soft-bristle brush to gently work it in. Be careful not to overdo it. Afterward, wipe it down thoroughly with a microfiber towel, making sure not to leave it in the sun, as this can cause a white staining from the degreeser.

If the degreaser does leave white stains, repeat the process and then condition the leather with a high-quality leather conditioner. Keep in mind that degreaser stains can generally only be removed with degreaser.

What degreaser do you recommend? I want to try this on my armrest but it feels like a leather clear coat (if that was originally applied) has been worn away. My leatherique rejuvenator didn’t work.

I personally use and like the degreasers from Ron Jen but they are exclusive to Alberta Canada. However, I also really like “Hot Stuff” by Carbrite. They deliver so I assume they could probably deliver to your area if there’s no Carbrite shops.

Otherwise if these aren’t available for you. I’d go to your local detail shop (or email them) and ask them what they use for degreasers. They all are fairly good I just prefer the ones I mentioned above a little more than others.
