My phone cannot connect

My phone was working perfectly in my 545e up until recently. Right now whenever I get in the car it just does not want to connect up to the car. The Bluetooth is turned on on my phone. My phone recognises my car and every time I try and connect to the car it tells me that no phone is connected. I've tried switching off my phone and doing a new scan but to no avail........anyone out there who can help me with this? Thanks

Occasionally I've been having an issue with connection. I turn the car off, then restart and it finds my phone. Strange quirky stuff going on with appleplay lately...at least for me.

Try this: delete the phone from your car, do couple of infotainment reboots(by holding power button for 20 seconds), then pair the phone again.

Tried that and no luck. When I try and pair the car and the phone, neither device is picking up the other via Bluetooth.....very strange.
