WBTUNING's G31 540i xDrive Build
Hi All,
New tot his forum! History - I have owned a few BMW’s, E39, E60 and F31 see pictures below. I recently bought a new BMW a 2018 G31 540i xDrive in Asuritz Schwarz When I was looking around for a new car, I was specifically looking for a white one (Alpineweiss). My F31 also had this color and I really was in love with it. However, the G30/31 are poorly sold in the white Alpineweiss color in my country (the Netherlands) and there wasn't much for sale at the moment. I spent days on online car sale sites and visiting BMW dealers and suddenly I came across a 540i with the color: Asuritz Schwarz, I didn’t know the color, but immediately i was in love of it. I was familiar with the Carbon Black, but the Asuritz ‘Black’ is slightly more special in my opinion (and an Individual color). The color is deeper and more gloss and mettalic flakes in the sunlight. After test drive it i was sold.... The car caught my eye as it has a high specification. I have never actually had very high demands on certain options, but this time I wanted to go for a slightly heavier engine. I had an N20 engine in the F31, chipped to 300 HP and drove it for 5 years without any problems, but I still missed those 2 extra cylinders and some exhaust roar. For me this time a few options were very important: 1- Original M package 2- Comfort seats 3- Seat heating 4- B58 engine with low mileage. These were actually the strictest requirements. I also thought it would be fun to get a pano roof. I had never had this before. 540i Spec List: Editions and packages
Comfort and interior equipment
Multimedia
Driver assistance and lightning
Wheels and drive
Environment and safety
Individual equipment

"Sir, we have a little problem." I thought no, there is damage or something else. The salesmen: "The previous owner installed an M-Performance rear mufffler, we forgot to report this, is this a problem?" I laughed, no this is certainly not a problem ![]() More info comming soon...

The M-Performance rear mufffler has a beautiful sound. However, I find the ending tips a bit too boring. So I had my friend adapt it to a quad look design. Just like my old F31.
![]() ![]() ![]() Only once I got home did I realize that he had allowed the exhaust tips to stick out far too extreme... it was my own fault because I had said to him "it can stick out a little aggressive.". So we made another appointment to adjust them slightly Way better now... ![]() ![]()

@ezaircon4jc The comfort seats already have a standard mounting place under the leather for the original screens. It is very easy to install. The original screens are terribly expensive and difficult to connect to the OEM system (programming, etc.). These screens have Android and I plugged in the cigarette lighter in the center console for power. Includes a manual that explains it step by step. Instal is max 1-2 hours.
I have a MicroSD card with some movies for my child and the android screen has also a BMW theme and very nice interface.

Nice build mate! I would say a rear spoiler and the look would be perfect, just my opinion that the wagon needs something like that to make it less round at the back
