Is the car smoked in? Try some P&S Interior Cleaner

P&S will clean it up a bit, but I am pretty sure it's the nature of the color of the part. It is still going to look dirty. I would get one new and wrap it with some clear film.

That is good point to wrap it with some sort of transparent foil.

3M clear wrap. You will never have to worry about stains and grime soaking in. One of the reasons I stay clear or light interiors and door cards.

Do not bother cleaning. will not do any good. Had the same interior, loved it but…..sun damage on driver door is unavoidable - I live in South Tx, both front door trim replaced, rear door held well.
trim cost about 30$ a piece, you replace it by leveraging back end with trim tool….when you have replacement in your hand you will know how to take old one out. You can get replacement on e bay as well.
