DRL failed in one headlamp assembly

Hi all, 2018 M550i under extended warranty from BMW. Over the weekend I noticed one of the two DRLs in the Driver's side headlight assembly is out (no longer illuminated). If anyone has encountered this issue just have a few questions:

1) Was this covered under warranty? I know different people can have different extended warranties. I have one issued by BMW, through the contact/dealership recommended here. 4-year Platinum I believe. I am sure I can call them and will, just wanted to check if anyone here had a warranty experience with this specific issue.

2) If not covered under warranty, does anyone know if the dealer can replace just the DRL? Assuming not, assuming they will want/need to replace the entire headlight assembly, which is not ideal considering the rest of the headlight assy works fine.

3) If the dealer cannot just replace the DRL, anyone have a ballpark what the dealer charges for a new headlight assy? I know they can be very pricey on some of the higher end luxury cars.

Thanks!!
