Hello! I bought new emblems for my hood/trunk on my 540. And I’m just wormerinf if the hood emblem uses grommets or if uses glue/tape.

Check on realoem.com and the part diagram with show. Usually grommets.

Hood / bonnet emblem uses grommets and pressed into them. I found my trunk / boot lid one used both grommets and tape. Just removed mine yesterday waiting on my new 50th anniversary badges to turn up.

Is the hood and trunk emblems the same or different sizes. What is the size of both emblems?

I just watched a YouTube video that showed both the hood and trunk emblems are were simply glued on. They used to what look like a hair dryer to heat it up and then some fishing string to go between the hood and the emblem to take it off butit wasn’t gonna 540. It was on an M2.

On my 2019 540 the hood used only grommets and the trunk I used 3M double sided tape.
