I'm not sure about the quality, but higher number means faster card...a class 4 will take awhile to "write" the image to the card, therefore it tends to stall at burst shooting. You'll end up getting a "BUSY" message when you're trying to shoot. Also your videos would be choppy. Get a atleast a class 6 but if you don't mind spending a little more get a class 10

You should get at least a class 6 card. It helps a lot when paired with a DSLR. You should keep an eye out for Sandisk rebates. I got three (3) 4gb extreme III for free a few years back after rebate.
For example: 1 card @ 20. Buy 3 cards and get a $60 prepaid visa card. If you buy 3 you're essentially getting the cards for free. I also did that for the 8gb CF Extreme III (not SD) cards. I got them for something like $20 a piece about 1.5 years ago. This is just a personal thing but I like to stick with Sandisk and Lexar. |
