MHD Adapter DME Error Code: “Last Flash: Unknown” – Anyone Know What This Means?

Hey everyone,

I’m leaning towards running a MHD tune on my 2017 BMW 540i xDrive (G30, B58), and I recently noticed a message in the adapter/DME section that says:

“Last flash: Unknown 2020.03.05”

Has anyone seen this before or know what it means? The car seems to be running perfectly fine, but I want to make sure nothing is off before proceeding with tuning.

I have not tuned the car to date, but I am the 3rd owner. Wondering if a previous owner flashed the vehicle? I contacted both BM3 and MHD's support teams, but neither were able to confirm if my car has been tuned in the past (based on VIN and other details).

Another detail - according to the Carfax report, the "engine/powertrain computer/module" was checked on the same day. Might this suggest something - or am reading too much into it?

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
