TPMS failure help

My 2017 G30 330i has intermittent TPMS failure error. Most of the time it's saying error throughout the week. With the occasional day it won't present an error.

I've tried various reset with only reaching 49%, inflating the tyre to make sure its the correct PSI. Ive also took not to my local garage thinking it's a failed sensor. But they told me all the sensors are working.

So I'm now guessing is the radio receiver? I believe the part number is 61 35 7 928 662

What do you guys think?

You've got 8 year old sensors? I'd replace those before anything else. The batteries do go bad.

Receintly I was notified of weakening battery in one of my TPMS valves - a guy at BMW told me what will happen when batteries go bad and it souned like what you described. As the batteries are not replaceable, I would try and buy new TPMS valve.

you can replace the sensors or have them deleted, for deleting you need an enet cable and a windows 10 or 11 laptop
