Rear fusebox terminals
Hi all,
I am having to strip the connectors from a wiring loom and need to replace the connectors that are on the wires that go in the back of the fusebox. Can anyone tell me what type and size connector they are? I have been hunting the web for a week and cannot seem to find this info! |

You can use the online parts database to help with things like this. Enter the last 7 digits of your VIN to pull up the diagrams for electrical connectors. If you're lucky, the part that you need may have the BMW part nbr molded into it. BMW part nbrs ar 11 digits long...and sometimes on smaller parts...only the last 7 digits of the part nbr is used. You can look for the part itself or try to search by using the part nbr. The (partial) screenshot below is just a guess since you didn't post an image of what you're referring to. The screenshot below was taken from the VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM diagrams at the realoem.com website.

My problem is that i do not even know what these connectors look like.
I have tried in vain for several days to remove a wire from my rear distribution box so i can see what they look like withoit breaking the existing connector. Any suggestiins on the actual connector type? The car has been half striped for two week with only a couple of hours work to do save for the fact i need to get the correct connectors! |
