M Performance muffler from 530i on 540i

Hey guys,

I found an M Performance muffler that is meant for the G30 530i, and the price is really good. The problem is, my car is a G30 540i.

My question is: Will this muffler fit my model? Are there differences in size, volume, or flange connections? I assume the 530i exhaust has a smaller volume, but I’m not sure if it can be mounted without modifications.

Has anyone tried a similar swap? I’d appreciate any advice or insights!

In the muffler or in the pipes? If it’s in reworking the pipes is not a big deal i think.
