Adjusting the height of the low and high beams on laser headlights (BMW G31 LCI 2021)

Hello everyone,

After replacing the original front springs with lowered H&R springs, I had to install rear struts to get the correct height at the rear axle. My vehicle is a 2021 BMW G31 (touring) LCI. As you know, the rear suspension is air-powered and self-leveling. Since I wasn't satisfied with the rear ride height provided by the adjustable struts that came with the H&R spring kit, I adjusted the rear ride height using ISTA, but unfortunately, this also affects the height of the headlights. The aesthetic result is now perfect, but the low and high beams are too low, and I have to manually adjust them.

The headlights on my BMW are BMW Laser Adaptive with High Beam Assist. The top of the range.

Looking straight at the headlights, I find these two gears to adjust them. Before touching them, I'd like to know the purpose of each one. Here's a photo. Thanks in advance.
