Looks great in the new pics, and you got Goodyear tyres in stead of those narrow looking Pirelli tyres.
But I can't believe how small BMW have made the CF spoiler. Looks like the side sills are painted like the exterior colour, but what about the diffuser?

I said they would mess up the diffuser! It is going to be sorted when the exhaust is fitted, this happened despite me giving them all the details. Sills are painted body colour, I have seen today how much dirt they collect on them.... |

Mperformance kit
What a stunning car. Congratulations
I have a 530d MSport on order in Alpine White. I am having a carbon Mperformance kit added (black grills, carbon front splitter, carbon spoiler, carbon diffuser and matt black sills and sill decals) I am thing about painting the sills and bumper trim (part of the diffuser package) in gloss black to try to match the grills/ fog light surrounds/ side brake vents. Do you think this is possible to match the black gloss and is it a good or bad idea ? |

Ajfoggy, I'm from Malaysia and have decided to get the G30 530i sophisto grey.
I am also thinking of getting the Gtechnic paint coating. Could you please share with us why you decided to get gtechnic and how satisfied you are with it. Many thanks |

Hi ajfoggy,
Have just started following this thread as I was struck how close some of your colors are to my own spec (although I'm not getting the carbon-fiber add-ons unfortunately). We do have in common the Sophisto paint, black leather and piano black shiny bits at least. How are those looking now and how do they fit together aesthetically? I've seen some negative comments about fingerprints on both the piano and the exterior paintwork, and I'm wondering how black leather goes with black pianos; what's your impressions so far? Thanks.

Well I have no complaints about the car but........ I have just sold it :-) It just wasn't the car for me! The interior was cracking all looked good together, you can see the dust on everything but that is the same with any car. Just get yourself a decent cloth for wiping the piano black trim so you minimise the scratches. |
