2017 540i xDrive M Sport
All season tires (Continental ProContact 245/40 R19 98H M/S)

- Vehicle Status on iDrive recommends 39 psi Front and 47 psi Rear
- Sticker on door jamb shows 35 psi Front 41 psi Rear

I trust the door sticker more than the computer, so I think I will try those settings. Suggestions?

By the way - this is my first BMW that enables you to view the tire pressures at each wheel. About time.

You have to specifically tick the kind of tyre your are using on the options for current tyre on drive and also tick whether is full laden or partially lade for the idrive to recommend correct pressure. If your tyres are not listed then you have to tick: other tyre in the option for current tyre

There is no listed option for 20" tires only 17"-19" options... - Why would they not list a stock / factory available size?

I do get the 20" option listed.

Recommended pressure on my screen is 39 psi (F) and 39 psi (R) when cold. Goes up as i drive of course.

Did you try the Special Approval Setup Menu?

The iDrive values will be much more accurate now. Do you by chance have Maximum Speed >160km/h selected?
