Wow! You're a better person than I am, I would have insisted on a new car. Do you think this incident will show on the car fax report when it comes time to trade or sell? Just wondering ..

They said they weren't going to report it. Since they're the ones who fucked it up I'm sure I'll be trading into them when it's time. It definitely isn't a perfect match. Especially in the direct sunlight

It looks on in the pictures. You are a saint...
I am not an expert but the paint on a bumper is never really a 100% match to the car body. Even if the whole car was sprayed at the factory (all at one time), the bumper is made out of plastic versus the body panels are made out of aluminum. The paint on the bumper usually cures a little darker. Off Topic question for you - Where did you get your front license plate bracket? I'm trying to be comply with state law but also trying to avoid drilling into the bumper! Thanks! |
