I don't really see the message your trying to send tho? Not many Ventura users - what do you base that statement on?

And regarding AC - there's a perfectly logical reason to why imo.

I own bmws since 1994 and know most of the bmw tuners.

Regarding ventura, I could not find enough feedback on internet, could not find customers to get feedback.

I wish ventura's G30 works flawless, and want to hear of other people.

Why does AC Schnitzer not offer an upgrade for 2.0L?

No CELs, but I'm still on map5. Once I can switch back to summer tyres I will try out map6. Driveability is excellent. Was worried before buying that the box would make the drivetrain less linear and more jerky in it's power delivery but not the case at all.

I have totally forgotten what stock feels like, should probably revert just to feel the difference.

95 and 98 octane are standard in Sweden. I always use 98 (which is also required if I want to use map6). What this translates to in US's way of measuring I'm too lazy to look up, there's a converter if one googles I'm sure.

BMWFamilyMan,
How do you "revert" to stock settings? Can you just "switch" off the Tuning box with a button?

No there's no such fancy feature, you unplug the connector to the box.

Did you managed to try Ventura Tuning? There's already a distributor of ventura tuning in Malaysia.

I have not seen any 530e owners' speaking about this as detailed as BMWFamilyMan. I hoping someone can enlighten me on whether Ventura tuning are able to bring 530e performance to 740e performance.

See the link here

According to Ventura's website it says:
With chip tuning, BMW 530e G30, the power increase 310 bhp and 510Nm.

I have a 2017 G30 530i and I want a tune.
The decision is killing me.
OBD tunes and chip tunes cost the same here.
All promise different gains.
Both can be detected by BMW and my car still has three years warranty.
Good to see a review from someone with the same car. Thanks.

after 10 months

Just for what is is worth, I fitted the ventura module in my 530e i over 10 months and 13000 miles ago. I'ts been at setting 5 for almost all of the time, and I drive it with 95 octane fuel. Judging by the car sport display I'm led to believe I get 300 hp and 460 Nm at this setting. For one tank's worth of 98 octane fuel only i ran it at map 7. To short to make a judgement if this was worth the extra fuel cost. However, at the more modest setting, I've never had any issues, like errors or engine check lights. Performance wise, the biggest change I've noticed is decent acceleration. Without the tune box, the acceleration is throttled. It makes you hesitate to pull out on a main road from a junction as it feels you cannot make pace quickly enough to nip into busy traffic. With the box, the engine feels to me to be restored back to it's natural performance.
That's a big win for me.

PS, my car went back to a BMW main dealer for minor body work, I'm sure they had to pop the hood for this, and although I forgot to take the tune box out and it's still under manufacturer's warranty, they never said a word.

1 st post and it smells full of advertising a product.

The very 1st post is about a tuner's product....

Speedo goes from 98 to 103 in 16 frames (in video editor). Counter is stopped after 10 frames which should equal just over 100 on speedo.

That's what my mother said back when I introduced her to pizza. She's still happy today and so am I.
