It's a shame, the only EV's that I have any interest in are the ones that are completely out of reach for the vast majority of the population. As I've said before, the majority of them have no soul. More like an Apple Watch than a Rolex.

Richard Hammond drove one of these in June 2017 if you'll recall.

A young Croatian company that progressed a lot in 10 years without making much noise. They partnered with Porsche (15%), Hyundai (11%), Kia (3%) and a Chinese battery company (14%).

Interesting that Top Gear received exclusivity rights after the Hammond fireball (double entendre intended). I guess Rimac got such good pub from it that it felt indebted ...

... or, some other (far less above-board) explanation exists ...

Hammond crashed the prototype on The Grand Tour, not Top Gear.

posted a bit earlier.. but Rimac's point is not making cars only for a tiny population.. their technology is already started to being used in brands like Hyundai as well..

Rimac technology is reason Taycan is faster than model S, and can run on Nurburgring multiple laps.
Fascinating engineering from a small manufacturer like Rimac.
