18' m550 random Drivetrain Malfunction errors?
has anyone gotten any random Drivetrain Malfunction errors that popped up and went away shortly with no change or vibration or decrease to cars performance? I had my car in once for a few days and dealer was working directly with BMW because they couldn't figure it out. They ended up replacing a knock sensor and all was well for a few days and got the same error again that popped up and went away. I have the car going in now 2nd time for this. I sure hope they can fix this before 4 attempts so my car doesn't get lemoned. I don't want a new car. I searched for 6 months to get this fully loaded spec CPO'd. I don't want it to get bought back or whatever. If it came to that, would BMW replace the car with equivalent car at no cost to me? I can't afford for them to buy it back and try to put me in a new car and pay the difference.

miles on the car?
fuel being used 91/93? brand? does it happen under WOT / idle / random when hot when cold? Lemon laws differ by state and typically only apply to the original owner not CPO cars here is Michigan specific: "The first report of the defect must be made within one year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser or lessee or during the term of the manufacturer's warranty, whichever period is shorter."
