Need help from the detailing pros!
So ever since I purchased my 2017 540i M-Sport (used) the cluster has some spots on the gray plastic portion that refuse to come out. It is like the previous owner used some bad product on it and let it soak in. My detailer tried normal cleaning methods along with polishing and rubbing alcohol and it did not help. Anyone ever see this or have any idea or trick up their sleeves?
Someone told me this is something that might be covered under warranty. Anyone know if that is true? The car otherwise is in amazing condition so hoping to get these stains out. Thanks for any help! |

I would very much like to hear some insight on this as well! I purchased a used 2017 540i 3 weeks ago and it has this exact same issue... not to mention some annoying scratches on my gloss black dash

Could Try Plexus, easy on plastic and usually cleans well.

QUIXX QA1 Reliable Acrylic... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CU6UT...p_mob_ap_share
I bought that for the piano black plastic in my Audi A6 and now for around the idrive controller in 530d It takes light scratches and swirls out quite well. |
